6. The Event is only open to residents of Singapore.
7. The Organiser will not be responsible for any contention arising from incomplete or wrong entries given by the participants.
8. If you wish to amend your registration details after completion, please email your request to [email protected]. Deadline for all amendments is by 17th September 2023, 23:59hrs. Please ensure that your request is duly acknowledged by Club Rainbow (Singapore).
9. If you wish to withdraw from the Event after completion, please email your request to [email protected]. Deadline for all withdrawal is by 17th September 2023, 23:59hrs. Please ensure that your request is duly acknowledged by Club Rainbow (Singapore).
10. If you withdraw without prior notice or do not participate for the Event, all donations collected will still be directed to Club Rainbow (Singapore).
11. To be eligible for a place to participate in the Event, all participants must fulfil the minimum donation amount based on the chosen category as stated in the Event Details section of the Event Website. The deadline to collect the minimum donation amount is by 24th September 2023, 23:59hrs.
12. Upon receiving the minimum donation amount by the deadline stated, the Organiser will send an email to the eligible participants and confirm their participation.
13. All monetary donations raised from this event will be directed to Club Rainbow (Singapore). These will include any funds raised by participants who do not meet the full minimum donation amount.

14. All qualified participants in the virtual 300km category must complete their ride between 1st July 2023, 00:00hrs and 24th September 2023, 23:59hrs (the Event Period).
15. All qualified participants in the virtual 10km ralk, 20km ride and 60km ride category must complete their ride between 17th October 2023, 00:00hrs and 17th November 2023, 23:59hrs (the Event Period).
16. Participants may choose to sync their Strava application with their registered account on the user portal for their ride details to be automatically submitted.
17. Alternatively, participants can also submit their ride details manually if they do not have a Strava profile.
18. Participants with manual submission of ride details are allowed to accumulate the required distance of the respective category in up to 10 sessions, as long as the ride is completed within the Event Period.
19. For manual submission, the following information is required to be submitted in order to be eligible for the event entitlements:
    • A picture of the ride details which contain the following:
      • Date of activity
      • Distance
      • Duration of activity
20. For participants with manual submission of ride details, submission can only be done once. All participants should ensure that they have the required information on hand prior to the submission. Amendments or supplement will not be allowed once the submission has been made.
21. All participants may choose to cycle either indoors or outdoors to achieve their distance required, and track their ride details using any suitable fitness tracking devices or mobile applications that can fulfil the criteria listed under point 19.
22. Electric-powered/assisted bicycles or transport devices are not allowed for the Event.
23. All participants can access the user portal to submit the above information within the Event Period.
24. The Organiser reserve the right to disqualify participants if submitted information are deemed to be unclear, incomplete or fraudulent. Disqualified participants will not be eligible to receive the post-event entitlements.

25. All participants are responsible for their own safety and physical condition, and should seek professional medical clearance before participating in the event.
26. Participants are strongly encouraged to adhere to safety advisories, cycling etiquettes and traffic rules when cycling outdoors. This includes:
    • Ensuring the bicycle is safe to use and helmet is mandatory
    • Looking out for other road users
    • Refrain from using hand-held devices while riding
    • Adhere to latest safe distancing measures (in view of Covid-19)
27. All participants are advised to refrain from consuming stimulants or any kind of drugs 1 day before riding unless advised by your doctor. Please ensure that you receive good rest and are well-hydrated while clocking the distance.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way with Ride & Ralk for Rainbows 2023 (the Event) on the 1st July 2023 – 17th November 2023 under Club Rainbow (Singapore) (“Ride & Ralk for Rainbows”), I acknowledge, appreciate and agree that:

1. I am in a good physical health and believe that I am able to complete the virtual ride
2. The risk of injury from the participation in the virtual ride exists, including but not limited to the potential for permanent paralysis and death, health risks, and the impact of weather, and while particular skills, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce the risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and,
3. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF IT ARISES FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and,
4. I have read and agree to abide by all the Rules and Regulations of the Event, including any amendments to such Rules and Regulations that are in effect during the virtual ride and,
5. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next-of-kin, HEREBY RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser, their officers, agents and/or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors advertisers WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH or loss or damage to person(s) or property associated with my presence or participation in Ride for Rainbows, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF Club Rainbow (Singapore)/Organiser OR OTHERWISE, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
