  1. Ride for Rainbows is an annual, flagship fundraising event owned and organised by Club Rainbow (Singapore) ("Organising Committee").
  2. The Organising Committee reserves the right to alter any information under this section "Event Details". Reasonable efforts will be taken by the Organising Committee to notify all participating riders through the Ride for Rainbows website and/or Facebook page, and other communication channels such as SMS and/or email.
  3. For riders who have been supporting Ride for Rainbows in the past year(s), do note that there are changes to the event format. Please read the information contained in this section carefully. You may direct all enquiries to rfr@clubrainbow.org prior to registering for the event.

Terms & Conditions
  1. The Organising Committee reserves the right to make amendments to the flag-off time, cycling routes and route distances for the respective categories. Reasonable efforts will be taken by the Organising Committee to notify all participating riders through the Ride for Rainbows website and/or Facebook page, and other communication channels such as SMS and/or email.
  2. Changes to Ride category will not be allowed after registration
  3. All categories, both Individual and Group riders are able to qualify for their respective categories by raising the minimum donation amount by 6 April 2017.
  4. All monetary donations will receive 2.5 times tax exemption.

Road Bikes, Touring Bikes, Hybrid Bikes, Sports Bikes, Mountain Bikes, Mini Velo Bikes, Folding Bikes & Hand Bikes Helmet and front/rear lights mounted onto the bike are mandatory.

Terms & Conditions
  1. The above options apply to ALL categories.
  2. Options not mentioned in the above list are subject to evaluation and approval by the Organising Committee on a case-by-case basis. Please email us at rfr@clubrainbow.org if you have questions.
  3. Riders found to be non-compliant with the above mentioned may be barred from participating in the event.
 

Event Safety Advisory

  1. Ride for Rainbows is not a competitive race. Riders should take responsibility for their personal safety and ride in a manner that does not endanger themselves and/or other riders.
  2. For each category, riders will complete their individual routes at their own pace.
  3. Medical and refreshment stations will be set up along each route. Riders may take as long a break as required at each station.
  4. Riders who are unwell or injured should inform the officials at the next nearest station and seek medical attention. If the rider is midway between stations and is unable to continue, he/she must signal to other riders to cycle ahead and inform the officials at the next station.
  5. In the event that riders are unable to continue with the ride, or if officials decide riders are unfit to complete the ride, the riders together with their bicycles, will be picked up by the first-aid vehicle and transported to the Finishing Point.
  6. Riders must wear the Ride for Rainbows jersey and secure the bike tag to facilitate identification by the officials
  7. The following is the contingency plan prior to flag-off in case of inclement weather and haze conditions, based on the health advisory issued in NEA website:

    (whichever is earlier)

    Inclement Weather Condition

Terms & Conditions
  1. The Organising Committee will decide whether to proceed with the ride depending on factors such as road conditions and/or other circumstances that may compromise the safety of the riders.
  2. If adverse weather conditions occur after flag-off, i.e. while the riders are already on the cycling route, the riders must stop riding at the nearest station. Officials will then make arrangements for the first-aid vehicles to pick up the riders as well as their bicycles and transport them to the Finishing Point.
  3. The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel the event or any particular aspect of the event at any time. Reasonable efforts will be taken by the Organising Committee to notify all participating riders through the Ride for Rainbows website and/or Facebook page, and other communication channels such as SMS and/or email.
